Massage Therapist

Our Sutherland team at LifeCare is growing and as a result, we are looking for a Massage Therapist to join our team on a contracting basis. You will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client’s quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists.

Responsibilities

Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals; Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s; Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy; Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture; Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required; Liaising with various healthcare professionals such to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored; Documenting and reporting on your client’s condition and progress

Requirements

Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy; Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration; ABN or ACN and relevant insurance documents
