Master Level Handyman

We're looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can 'do it all' while taking excellent care of our customers. Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project length ranging from two hours to two days; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Finding additional ways to be of service to the customer; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing needed materials, and collecting payment from the customer; Asking for reviews and collecting payments; Documenting the job while following the process; Wearing proper PPE as well as booties to protect customer's home

Requirements

Must live within the service area; Minimum of 10 years of paid experience as a handyman; Must own and maintain your own set of tools; Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; Must be insurable to drive a company vehicle; Must successfully complete a background check, driving record check, and drug screening; Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance; Able to work safely at heights and perform overhead tasks for extended periods; Must maintain a professional appearance and keep the company-provided vehicle in clean, presentable condition; Meets expectations: professionalism, team player, communicative, sales/customer service, contribute and follow the system, flexible and problem solving; Need to self-manage as you will be alone often; Need to speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Need to have necessary tools, including ability to use technology; Need to document the job while following the process; Need to wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect customer's home; Strong proficiency in carpentry work; Bathroom improvements; Kitchen improvements; Painting, both inside and out; Drywall work, minor and major repairs; General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law; Floor installation and refurbishing; Familiar with building codes
