Mechanic / Maintenance Operator

As a Mechanical Assembler at Valmet you will work to assembly and disassemble mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry. Having a strong mechanical aptitude will ensure success for this position. This is a rotating shift position. Responsibilities

Assembly and disassembly of mechanical roll equipment for the paper industry; Assembly/Disassembly of bearings, housings and water cooling apparatus to make repairs; Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment; Record parts and materials used and prepare time and production records; Read blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery; Light machining

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Strong mechanical aptitude
