The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting process/product improvement and new product development to ensure they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements. S/He must be able to work well in a team environment and possess effective communication skills and technical expertise.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.; Experience: 1+ years of industry experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.; Intermediate proficiency in NX required; Intermediate knowledge of materials and processes; Intermediate to advanced knowledge of sheet metal; Basic knowledge of product development best practices such as DFM, DOE, DFMEA, and Lean PD.; Basic knowledge of drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.; Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as medical equipment a plus.
