Mechanical Shift Engineer

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer who will deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance across a large Heathrow estate, working as part of a 24/7 shift team to ensure critical buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Responsibilities

Undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services; Work as part of a balanced shift team (electrical and mechanical) providing 24-hour cover for the Heathrow estate; Identify plant defects, warning indicators and system faults, taking appropriate corrective actions; Maintain and support building services systems including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generators, controls systems, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems

Requirements

City & Guilds craft certificate / ONC or equivalent; Recognised craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent); Ability to obtain and pass full intrusive security checks (mandatory)

C&G Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering
