Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Baymeadows Primary Care office located in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:15AM-5:15PM.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.

Responsibilities

Provides medical assistance to physicians; Obtains vital signs; Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit; Maintains medical documentation; Uses excellent customer service skills; Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician; Processes prescription requests and referrals

Requirements

2+ years Patient Care Experience; Experience in Physician's office; High School Diploma/GED Required; Associate of Arts/Science Preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) Required; Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
