Medical Waste Loader/Unloader - 1st Shift 5:30AM to 3PM

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

Responsibilities

Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs; Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers; Load/operate our autoclave machine; Load the Washsmart system; Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers; Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably; Working well with a team

Requirements

Must have a VALID driver's license; Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifting of 50lbs to 75lb containers); Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening; Willingness to take a 7 year background check; Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately; Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems; Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards; Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE; Proven longevity with employers; Can-do attitude
