Medication Technician

At Sunrise Senior Living, we champion the quality of life for all seniors. As a Medication Aide/Med Tech, you ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration; Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time; Observe residents during and after medication passes; Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief; Report refusals or concerns promptly; Complete narcotic counts per policy; Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms; Follow infection control and safety standards

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED; Age 18+; Medication Administration certification; CPR and First Aid certification; Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice to have

Senior care experience preferred
