MRI Technologist - Inpatient

The MRI Technologist shall be responsible to produce quality diagnostic medical images. This individual will perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying the magnetic field for detecting pathology. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required; Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology; Active ARRT (R)(MR) registry required; BLS required; Must possess reasoning ability and good judgment; Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints; Must remain aware of patient condition at all times; Must demonstrate effective communication skills; Position requires sitting for 33% of the workday, standing 33% and mobility 34% of the workday; Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds; Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person; Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range; Must be able to assist and maneuver patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds
