Night Shift Engineer

Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer that has been established the local area for a number of years. Due to site investment and development, they are looking for an experienced night shift engineer to join their close knit team.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services; Fixing production machinery, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, automation & controls, PLC’s, site services & facilities; Supporting with project work – new machine & production line installs; PPM’s, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades

Requirements

Must be an electrically biased engineer; Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with electrical & mechanical qualifications; Previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing; 17th / 18th Edition Electrical; Electrical testing & inspection experience; Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Comfortable working as sole engineer on nights; Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills; PLC – electrical fault finding; Experience of carrying out CI projects, new machine installations
