We are seeking a NOC Technician to provide server, network monitoring, and operations support to key government customers. The NOC Technician will support the 24x7x365 Network Operations Center in providing network monitoring and service. This program will maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our country’s most important missions both at home and abroad. Provide server, network monitoring, and operations support to key government customers; Support 24x7x365 Network Operations Center in providing network monitoring and service

Requirements

Support an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system; Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability; Perform routine network startup/shutdown procedures and maintain control records; Work weekends and holidays as the GNOC operates 24x7x365; Night shift (6pm-6am), with training on Day Shift for 6-8 weeks before moving to Night Shift; Total of 7 years of applicable experience (combination of degree and work history; High School degree and 7 years, Associate’s and 5 years, Bachelor’s and 3 years, Master’s and 1 year, or PhD and 0 years); Hands-on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT systems; Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
