NPI Sr Production Support Specialist

Job Summary

An NPI (New Product Introduction) Planner manages production planning, scheduling, and material readiness for new product launches, bridging the gap between engineering design and full-scale manufacturing. Key duties include generating quarterly/weekly production plans, coordinating engineering build activities, and highlighting capacity or supply chain constraints

Responsibilities

Material planning, scheduling, expediting and tracking for Research and Development activities; Lead Cross Functional Teams for material planning; Manage systems to capture and track material plans and status; Manage and track engineering material inventory.; Manage purchase request for R&D materials; Facilitate shipping process for customer samples.; Identify critical path, and propose risk mitigation and contingency strategies for delays and shortages

Requirements

4+ years’ experience in material planning or related experience.; Proficient in Microsoft excel and power point.; Knowledge in ERP preferred; Communicate effectively; Critical Thinking and creative.; Driving Continuous Improvement.; Organized and detail oriented; Highly motivated; Has high level of integrity in creating and honoring commitments; Practice teamwork and team building; Sense of urgency to meet internal and external
