Responsibilities

Assist the RN in providing patient care to meet safety and comfort needs.; Provide input to help plan and implement patient care.; Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.; Participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.; Uphold the Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.; Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.; Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Nice to have

CNA certification preferred.
