O&P Fitter-Tier I

Entry-level role into patient care with no prior experience required. Responsible for performing basic patient evaluations, fitting and applying prefabricated and custom-fit orthotic devices, in addition to providing routine follow-up care as needed. Assists in the coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals. Work is performed in accordance with established procedures and practices under full supervision.

Responsibilities

Performing basic patient evaluations; Fitting and applying prefabricated and custom-fit orthotic devices; Providing routine follow-up care; Assisting in the coordination of patient care with other healthcare professionals; Conducting regular follow-up evaluations; Educating patients about procedures and their role in care; Monitoring and tracking inventory levels for orthotic and prosthetic supplies and devices

Requirements

High School Diploma required; Ability to interact with patients and physicians on a professional level required; Willingness and ability to learn required

Nice to have

Associates degree preferred; Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
