OCCUPATIONAL THERPIST (Certified Hand Therapist)

Responsible for evaluation treatment of patients with a variety of sports, orthopedic and physical disorders (specifically hand, wrist and elbow), working cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team and department to achieve goals and objectives for the provision of optimal patient care services. Monitors the treatment activities of rehabilitation aides.

Evaluation and treatment of patients with a variety of sports, orthopedic and physical disorders (specifically hand, wrist and elbow); Working cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team and department to achieve goals and objectives for optimal patient care services; Monitoring treatment activities of rehabilitation aides; Providing appropriate and comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations and treatments through discharge; Developing appropriate plan of care based on evaluation findings

Requirements

BS or MS in Occupational Therapy from accredited school; Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Massachusetts; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred
