Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

Ensure the accurate and timely processing of capital calls paid to and distributions received from the firm’s fund; Coordinate with the firm’s sub-administrator, custodian, and other critical service providers and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate payment of expenses including the maintenance of weekly expense packages; Review daily reconciliation of the custodial and brokerage accounts; Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings; Perform scheduled and ad hoc internal reporting including portfolio performance reporting; Assist with the review and processing of investor subscription and tender offer activity, investor statements, purchase confirmations, and account maintenance confirmations; Assist with updating marketing collateral and adhering to compliance of such collateral

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 2-4 years of experience in public accounting and/or fund operations experience at a private equity firm or hedge fund; Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP for investment companies; Strong Excel skills required

Nice to have

Experience with SEC reporting requirements for the 1940 Act registered investment companies preferred
