Operations Associate

Our client is an established investment management firm focused on value-oriented strategies across public markets, managing capital on behalf of institutional and high-net-worth investors. The firm employs a fundamental research-driven approach utilizing long/short equity strategies across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities

Review of daily reconciliation of cash, positions, profit & loss, accruals, receivables/payables; Generate internal trade, position, and profit & loss reporting for trading teams and risk; Trade processing, reconciliation, settlement coordination and trade break resolution; Track trading strategies including fixed income, equity, FX, bank debt, futures, and swaps; Review of monthly profit & loss; Processing and reconciliation of corporate actions

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; 1-2 years of middle office experience; Strong Excel skills; Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Nice to have

Experience at a hedge fund preferred
