Operations Manager / Logistics Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations / Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, transportation management, inventory control, and transit insurance claims . The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in ERP systems (QAD), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools , ensuring operational excellence and seamless supply chain execution.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities including inbound/outbound logistics, storage optimization, and compliance with safety standards.; Transportation Management: Oversee fleet operations, route planning, vendor coordination, and timely delivery performance.; Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement min-max inventory controls.; Transit Insurance Claims: Handle documentation, claim filing, and coordination with insurers for damaged or lost goods.; ERP & WMS: Utilize QAD ERP and WMS platforms for order processing, tracking, and reporting.; Reporting & Analytics: Prepare dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics for management review.; Team Leadership: Lead and mentor warehouse/logistics staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory management .; Experience in transit insurance claim handling .; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.; Hands-on expertise in WMS and QAD ERP systems .; Excellent problem-solving, vendor management, and communication skills.; Ability to work under pressure and deliver measurable efficiency improvements.; Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations .; MBA or equivalent preferred.; Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in logistics and warehouse management.; Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in logistics and warehouse management.
