Operations Manager

The Operations & Project Manager dynamically oversees both daily warehouse logistics and high-level project execution for our Hauppauge, NY facility. This position requires an agile leader who can manage site crews remotely while optimizing local supply chains, asset tracking, and fleet readiness. You will act as the critical operational bridge between client management, field crews, and warehouse inventory.

Inventory Database Management; Order Fulfillment Support; Material Tracking & Validation; Facility Organization; Procurement Support; Inbound/Outbound Freight Coordination; Crew Mobilization; Fleet Asset Maintenance; Active Project Oversight; Mid-Day Progress Control; Project Documentation; Client Relationship Management; 3-4 Week Look-Ahead; Postmortem Review Analysis; Resource Blueprinting; Operational Readiness

Requirements

Proficiency with MS Office & Teams; High-level problem-solving skills; Ability to make decisions when prioritizing the short- and long-term objectives for projects; Must have outstanding relationship skills and have a team oriented, collaborative work ethic; Ability to work within a flexible schedule; Valid Drivers License; Availability to report to Hauppauge office all workdays not scheduled to be present on jobsites; High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice to have

Previous industry experience in warehouse, scaffolding, construction, technical theater and/or scenic fabrication is a plus but not required; Bilingual a major plus but not required
