Paediatric Complex Care Nurse – Portsmouth

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to provide specialist care for a 13year old with complex medical needs. This is a highly rewarding role where your expertise will make a significant impact on the child’s well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist care for a 13year old with complex medical needs; Tracheostomy Care; TPN Feeding Experience; BIPAP- Ventilator Experience; Suctioning – Perform both oral and deep suctioning to manage secretions; Medication Administration – Accurately administer and manage multiple medications via an NG Tube; Oxygen Saturation Monitoring – Ensure oxygen levels remain stable and within a safe range

Requirements

Experience in paediatric complex care, ideally with infants; Proficiency in epilepsy care, TPN feeding, suctioning, and medication administration; Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations; Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach
