Painter

As a Powder Coat Painter with Crusoe, you will be responsible for applying industrial paint finishes like powder coat to metals or manufactured products. This includes mixing paints and other solutions and monitoring drying to ensure desired results. This role is essential for achieving the desired aesthetic and protective qualities of our products. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

Operating a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or manufactured products; may paint by hand when needed; mixing paints and other solutions; completing finishing with baking, polishing, or other materials; monitoring drying to ensure desired results

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; 1+ years of general work experience with powder coating; ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs; ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily; constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back; detail oriented; team player willing to take on additional roles as needed; good attitude and willingness to learn; proactive self-starter; consistently delivers assigned duties; knows when to seek assistance; thrives in a team-oriented environment; readily supports other teams and departments; alignment with company values; safety-sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol program participation; must submit to a medical evaluation to confirm ability to wear a respirator

Nice to have

Apprenticeship and/or formal training in production painting; strong organizational/follow-up skills
