Part Time - Clinical Robot Associate - Los Angeles, CA (on-site)

Part-time, entry-level role at Diligent Robotics averaging 2-3 8-hour shifts per week, with 24/7 site coverage. Clinical Robot Associates work alongside hospital staff and the engineering team to assist a fleet of robots in real-world hospital environments, solve unexpected situations during shifts, and help build out the customer-facing operations arm. This is not an engineering position; a background in robotics or engineering is not required.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and safely assisting mobile service robots in a hospital environment; Collecting data and troubleshooting in a variety of real-world situations, while providing detailed and accurate feedback to engineers; Prioritizing the customer experience, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded; Communicating with hospital staff and, occasionally, the public regarding robot operation; Uphold the highest standards for safe clinical use of robots in real-world hospital environments; Help design and implement processes as the organization scales

Requirements

High school graduate or possess a GED; Customer-service oriented, friendly, skilled in de-escalation; Excellent written and verbal communicator; Organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Self-sufficient, able to make quick decisions independently; Able to lift up to 40 pounds; Able to work varying shift times including nights and weekends; Willing to work during significant holidays; Willing to be vendor credentialed (immunizations, background check, drug screen, among other steps); Must be local and willing to work weekends and onsite
