Part-Time Faculty, Dept. of Social Work

The Department of Social Work at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach online and in person courses in the BSW and MSW programs. Courses may include, but are not limited to: Introduction to Social Work; Social Work Policy; Human Behavior in the Social Environment and Social Work Practice. To be considered to teach courses in our programs, applicants should hold a Master's of Social Work degree from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program and must have a minimum of five years post-MSW work experience. Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs. Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Teach online and in person courses in the BSW and MSW programs; Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students

Requirements

Master's of Social Work degree from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program; minimum of five years post-MSW work experience
