Part-Time Faculty, Philosophy

The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach introductory courses in Philosophy and Ethics in-person and online. To be considered to teach courses in our programs, applicants should hold at least a Master's degree in Philosophy. Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs. Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Earned M.A. in Philosophy or related field from an accredited institution at time of appointment; At least a Master's degree in Philosophy; Official transcripts required at time of position offer and as condition of employment; Not eligible for visa sponsorship; Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check
