Parts and Accessories Associate (part-time)

We are hiring a part-time Parts and Accessories Associate / Sr. Parts Associate that is passionate about the industry and ready and waiting to consistently deliver upon that commitment. This is a customer-facing position responsible for delivering a friendly, efficient experience to walk-in and phone customers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the parts department. Core responsibilities include fulfilling parts requests from the service department, receiving and stocking shipments, managing special orders, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual goals set by Management; Greet and handle over-the-counter customers in a friendly manner; Give first priority to over-the-counter customers and second priority to telephone customers; Suggest additional items to customers; Handle requests for parts from the service department; Check in and receive parts and accessories shipments; Match and staple purchase order and bill of lading and forward to Parts Manager; Stock items received; Notify customers of receipt of special orders by phone, postcard, or via Parts Manager if not picked up within 5 business days; Box and ship special orders to customers; Abide by dealership policies and general housekeeping; Follow company dress codes and be well groomed; Maintain positive working relationships with other employees; Perform other duties deemed necessary for department and dealership success

Requirements

Passionate about the powersports industry; Customer-first mindset; High School Diploma or equivalent; Minimum of six months service experience in any industry; In-depth knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange etc.), Outlook and Google Suite; Basic mechanical knowledge of at least one rider segment (Dirt, Street, ATV, Utility ATV, UTV, Cruiser); Basic knowledge of powersports soft goods and gear; Strong communication skills (verbal and written); Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload; Proactive mindset and creative problem solving skills; Comfort working on your feet in an occasionally loud environment; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; May be required to push and/or balance a 600 lb+ recreational vehicle; Ability to use keyboard and computer for extended length of time; Ability to spend the majority of the day on your feet
