Parts Specialist-1

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Answer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/check/credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with image maker and planogram updates, freight receiving, stocking, fronting and facing, cleaning; Prepare returns to distribution center, assist with stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment; Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries/charging systems, scanning trouble codes, replacing headlight capsules; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
