Parts Specialist-1

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls, looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/check/credit transactions; Process exchanges and returns for credit; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks, prepare returns, inventory counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform various in-store services for customers where allowed; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
