Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to phone customers by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns, stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers where laws allow; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
