Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; support store management in assigned tasks; follow and promote company customer service programs; greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in merchandise selection; assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers; complete assigned company training; answer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer Low-Price Guarantee; maintain cash drawer and process cash/check/credit transactions; process exchanges and returns; address and resolve customer complaints; assist with daily image maker and planogram updates including freight receival, stocking, fronting, facing, cleaning; perform daily operational tasks such as returns, stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts; operate brake lathe and test equipment after training; perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, replacing headlight capsules; occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
