Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in their selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed; Complete assigned company training relevant to position; Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, exchanges, and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform various daily operational tasks, prepare returns, assist with stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform various in-store services for customers where state and local laws allow; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
