Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns, stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment; Perform in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, and replacing headlight capsules; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired); Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
