Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist in merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to phone customers by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain cash drawer, accept payments, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment; Perform in-store services; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
