Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium items, offering Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/check/credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as returns, stock adjustments, inventory counts; Operate brake lathe and store test equipment after training; Perform in-store customer services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, scanning trouble codes, replacing headlight capsules; Drive delivery vehicle occasionally when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
