Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote company customer service programs; Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Answer customer phone calls, look up parts, quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash and/or checks, make change, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, and cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns, assisting with monthly stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after required training; Perform in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow), such as installing wipers, testing and charging batteries, testing charging systems, scanning vehicle trouble codes, and replacing headlight capsules; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate (subject to driving eligibility requirements); All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired); ASE certification (desired); Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired (desired)
