Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning walls and windows; Maintain cleanliness of washrooms, including hourly checks and restocking supplies; Remove garbage from waste containers throughout the mall and clean up litter on walkways (lift up to 25 lbs); Use proper cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment; Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens according to state and federal regulations; Perform other janitorial duties as required; Ensuring mall is ready for opening and cleaned at closing time; Keep sidewalks clean of garbage

Requirements

Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment; Familiarity with proper use of cleaning chemicals in compliance with regulations; Understanding of hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogen disposal procedures
