Payroll Analyst

This role will be responsible for processing and validating outsourced Payroll for India. It will provide cover for processing and validating outsourced Payroll for APAC countries, while interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Remote, Hybrid or on site is appropriate for this role. On time, accurate payrolls, responsive to customer queries. Will be responsible for India payroll delivery and working with outsourced providers to ensure deadlines are met according to the payroll timetables.

Responsibilities

Processing and validating outsourced Payroll for India; providing cover for processing and validating outsourced Payroll for APAC countries; interacting with internal and external stakeholders; ensuring on time and accurate payrolls; responding to customer queries; working with outsourced providers to ensure deadlines are met according to payroll timetables; performing computations and clerical duties necessary to prepare payroll information for computer input, adjust computer output, and process exception items or those requiring special handling; responding to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation; operating controls and checking processes predefined by Management; preparing, maintaining, and compiling various payroll records; low level Vendor Management with regards to payroll cut offs and run deadlines; acting as a payroll policy advisor to department managers and staff

Requirements

8+ years experience preparing payroll information for computer input, computer output and processing exception items or those requiring special handling; experience with high volume payroll; experience dealing with India tax year end and statutory filings and payments; experience responding to inquiries from employees regarding salary deductions and changes in compensation; great attention to detail to prepare, maintain, and compile various payroll records
