Perfusionist Per Diem

Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is a national leader in heart care. A team of 17 perfusionists provides services to 7 surgeons. Procedures include CABGs, Valves, Heart Transplants, TAVRs, HIPEC, Angiovac, and ECMO. This is a zero assigned, as-needed/per diem position supporting fluctuating volumes/program needs, primarily for ECMO coverage, covering St. Luke's and Grafton.

Responsibilities

Support fluctuating volumes/program needs and coverage for regular team member time off; Provide ECMO coverage; Cover St. Luke's and Grafton; Perform perfusion services for procedures including CABGs, Valves, Heart Transplants, TAVRs, HIPEC, Angiovac, and ECMO; May include call, weekends, and holidays based on department needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Cardiovascular Technology; Perfusionist license issued by the state of Wisconsin; Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification issued by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP); Typically requires 3 years of experience in pumping perfusion cases.
