Personal Assistant (PA) Carer Supporting a Male with Spinal Cord Injury

I'm looking for reliable, compassionate individual to support an adult male to meet my daily care, support needs, and to live as independently as possible. You will be part of a small team working in pairs providing support in the home and taking my wife and I out in the community. Support will be person-centred and focused on maintaining dignity, choice, independence.

Responsibilities

Personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting; Assistance with mobility and transfers (training provided); Support with hydration (possibly medication as required); Domestic tasks to clean wet room, sleeping area, bed making, assist with laundry; Support my wife and I in social activities, appointments, community access; Providing companionship and promoting independence to me and my wife

Requirements

Reliable; Compassionate; Full UK driving license; Can drive a motability equipped car
