Personal Care Assistant

Personal / Care Assistant required (£13.50 per hour). Client is a Veteran who is a semi independent active wheelchair user, requires support with both physical and mental health on a daily basis. However this can vary from day to day. To assist the client with his daily activities including food shopping and days out; client loves getting out and exploring nature pushing himself to the limits. Starting 14 hours per week, these hours may increase in the future. Bank staff leading to permanent contract. Required for days mainly day shift, occasional night when required. Services include meal preparation, personal care, domestic care, social and leisure activities, and support to remain independent.

Requirements

Experience essential; Must be willing to work as part of a small team in client's house; Required for days mainly day shift, occasional night when required; Must be comfortable around dogs; Must be able to provide evidence of experience at interview; Provide 2 references; Clean DBS required (transferable accepted)
