Personal Care Specialist (Part Time), Rainbow & Warm Springs

RISE Personal Care Specialists engage in one-on-one interactions with patients and/or customers from the time they enter the retail area until they check out and exit the store. The ideal candidate should be friendly and upbeat, much like a barista in your favorite coffee shop. Personal Care Specialists connect each unique patient and/or customer with just the right product and method of consumption for their needs.

Responsibilities

Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment; Play an active part in patients' and/or customers' education on products, methods of consumption, and safety; Recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient and/or customer's needs; Stay up to date on product knowledge; Promote a positive, communicative, patient and/or customer-oriented work environment; Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy; Support the management team to ensure store operations run smoothly and in compliance with rules and regulations; Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are enforced and upheld; Ensure sales floor is properly stocked and the store is well maintained and compliant; Maintain hard copy files as required; Follow security measures and safety compliance procedures; Complete duties at assigned workstations during scheduled shifts, including Front of House, Back of House, and Maintenance tasks; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

At least one year of customer service experience; Preference for specialty, customer-facing retail experience; Meet scheduling and availability requirements, including varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends; Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance; Must be 21 years or older; Must pass all required background checks, including state-specific cannabis employment requirements; Possess valid driver's license or state ID; Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry; Ability to perform tasks for prolonged periods, including moving about the dispensary, remaining stationary when required, and communicating with individuals and groups; Ability to operate POS system, computer, and office productivity software; Ability to move inventory and materials weighing up to 30 pounds independently; Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions; Exposure to cannabis and/or allergens may occur

Nice to have

Previous knowledge of cannabis, cannabinoids, and the endocannabinoid system preferred; Previous experience with POS systems; Desire to continuously learn about cannabis products and therapies; Specialty, customer-facing retail experience
