Personal Health Care Assistant

I am looking to recruit experienced Personal Health Care Assistants to join a small team who enable me to live independently in my adapted home in Sittingbourne, Kent. I am a man in my 60s with a high spinal cord injury and need support with safe moving and handling, personal care, preparation and cooking of meals, as well as health care tasks such as stoma and catheter care, for which training will be provided. Working as a Personal Health Care Assistant differs from other care roles. You’ll be supporting me with all aspects of daily life.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Experience as a Personal Health Care Assistant; current driving licence; ability to drive a manual vehicle; right to live and work in the UK; two references; Enhanced DBS Check; online Safeguarding Training; reliable; trustworthy; conscientious; able to use own initiative
