Physician - Nocturnist

The University of Kansas Health System, Olathe Campus, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Nocturnist who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to deliver comprehensive care on the inpatient service nocturnist team. Patient care is provided in shift scheduling, shared equally among members of the group. The role also includes participation in call duties, aligning with established practices for hospitalist services. There will be limited interaction with house staff in a supervisory and triage role.

Responsibilities

Delivering comprehensive care on the inpatient service nocturnist team; Providing patient care in shift scheduling shared equally among group members; Participating in call duties; Supervising and triaging in limited interaction with house staff; Engaging in collaborative education and research activities with students and fellows

Requirements

MD/DO or equivalent; Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine; Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
