Planning Coordinator

Responsible a variety of administrative tasks and handling extensive paperwork related to materials management.

Responsibilities

Handle and organize documentation related to materials management; Utilize Excel and other software tools for data entry and management; Planning, creating, and releasing job cards and packets to the shop floor; Work with Supply Chain to ensure all required raw materials are available in time to release orders; Assist supply chain on Kanban changes and additions; Maintain kanban for manufactured items; Attend cross-over, non-conforming materials, sales & operations, and any other meetings deemed necessary; Purchase order entry for raw materials and other goods (back-up to supply chain); Scan documents into systems and to the supply chain team; Conducting floor count and utilizing WinMan ERP; Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Strong attention to detail; Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team setting; Ability to multitask while prioritizing responsibilities; Self-starter with ability to effectively utilize existing resources to solve problems; Computer Literacy and comprehension; Ability to prioritize; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline or at least one year related experience; Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work with various departments and vendors; Ability to stand and move around the production facility if needed; Ability to sit at a desk and conduct computer work for extended periods of time if needed; Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Nice to have

Knowledge of ERP systems preferred; Familiar with Lean and 5S principles
