Pool Server

The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for Seasonal Pool Servers to join our amazing Team out at our River Ranch Pool! Hours: AM and PM shifts including weekends and holidays. Service of food and beverage to include the order taking and delivery of food and/or beverage. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Service of food and beverage to include the order taking and delivery of food and/or beverage; Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction; Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner as soon as they are seated at tables or on lounges and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions; Answer any guest questions about the menu; Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy; Input order into machine and place in service bar and cook area; Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual; Clear away dishes/baskets as soon as guest is finished and pick up empty cups; Present the check to guest promptly; Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness; Wipe down tables and chairs each day; Assist Pool Attendants by straightening lounge chairs and picking up cups and towels

Requirements

Must have the ability to communicate in English; Self-starting personality with an even disposition; Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times; Can communicate well with guests; Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player; Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking; Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
