Pre-Sales & Delivery Architect

The Pre-Sales & Delivery Architect plays a critical dual role in the EMEA Professional Services organization. Operating at the exact intersection of sales enablement and high-end project execution, this position splits focus evenly: OutSystems Professional Services Architect and Pre-Sales Support. You will act as the technical bridge within the team. On the pre-sales side, you will drive architecture blueprinting, technical scoping, and validation to secure new enterprise business. On the delivery side, you will step directly into customer engagements to lead the technical execution of complex, Agentic AI and low-code solutions. This dual perspective ensures that our pre-sales proposals are grounded in real-world delivery feasibility, and our active delivery projects seamlessly execute on early pre-sales visions.

Responsibilities

Drive architecture blueprinting, technical scoping, and validation to secure new enterprise business; Lead technical execution of complex Agentic AI and low-code solutions; Partner with Sales and Solution Delivery Managers to translate customer discovery into SOWs and technical roadmaps; Design and execute technical demonstrations, architectural spikes, and interactive PoCs; Conduct deep-dive technical audits of client environments; Serve as trusted technical authority during sales cycles; Act as Lead Architect on billable customer engagements; Perform code and architecture reviews; Direct implementation of LLM orchestration, RAG, and HITL workflows; Package learnings into reusable delivery playbooks

Requirements

Ability to seamlessly pivot between rapid pre-sales discussions and deep project delivery execution; Comfortable challenging legacy architectural thinking and guiding clients toward scalable, AI-native patterns; Mindful of time-to-value, project margins, and scope boundaries; Skillful at building trust with internal delivery teams and executive client stakeholders; Deep hands-on expertise in OutSystems low-code platform including advanced integration patterns, core architecture design, and performance tuning; Practical knowledge of multi-agent orchestration, strategic prompt engineering, vector databases (RAG), and token cost/data privacy guardrails; Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery, defining MVP boundaries, and creating work-breakdown structures for SOWs; 6+ years combined experience in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Technical Pre-Sales, or Technical Delivery in IT Professional Services; Proven success in winning complex software deals through technical leadership and delivering high-value enterprise applications; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; OutSystems Architecture / Expert Developer Certification
