Predictive Maintenance Technician - (Days M-F)

Perform Maintenance duties as necessary in Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance to ensure service to dairy processing and packaging equipment and auxiliary equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance duties to ensure service to dairy processing and packaging equipment and auxiliary equipment; Analyze mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment; Troubleshoot and monitor plant equipment and utility systems; Assist machine operators in determining when to shut down equipment; Perform preventative maintenance procedures and documentation; Maintain inventory and requisition replacement parts; Execute assigned projects under maintenance coordinator direction; Work overtime as needed during breakdowns and scheduled maintenance; Maintain daily work records in CMMS; Maintain clean and safe work environment; Perform predictive maintenance inspections and condition-monitoring; Utilize predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, oil analysis, laser alignment; Assist in development of predictive maintenance work orders; Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement; Assist in training team members on predictive maintenance techniques

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma; At least 3+ years experience in manufacturing; Prior experience in industrial maintenance; Intermediate Computer Skill (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.); Excellent Troubleshooting Experience; Ability to work well with people; Good Communication skills; Ability to multitask; Ability to work independently; Working knowledge and demonstrated skill in the use of all hand tools as they relate to industrial equipment maintenance; Shop equipment knowledge and ability to operate Welder, Metal Lathe, Drill Press, etc.; Ability to stand for long periods (a minimum of 8+ hours); Ability to walk for long periods; Ability to bend frequently; Ability to lift heavy (50+ lbs) frequently; Ability to carry heavy (40-60 lbs) frequently; Ability to push/pull under 75 lbs without assistance frequently
