Pricing Actuary

Our client is looking for an experienced Pricing Actuary to support their specialty team, with a focus on the Casualty underwriting space. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing pricing and portfolio management tools to drive profitable growth and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Ensure underwriters have access to up-to-date technical pricing models and tools, and oversee their delivery, implementation, and ongoing maintenance; Develop and apply product pricing methodologies; Collaborate with the pricing model team to develop, test, and calibrate pricing tools; Oversee and maintain the rate monitoring process for portfolios; Design and maintain dashboards and portfolio management tools

Requirements

Actuarial designation: Chartered Actuary (FIA), ASA, FSA, or ACAS; Approximately 5 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance markets; Solid business acumen with the ability to link market trends to financial impact; Familiarity with reserving and capital models; Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
