Pricing and Reserving Risk Manager

Responsibilities

Play a key role in shaping pricing, reserving and capital decisions by bringing thoughtful challenge, collaboration and a forward-looking view of risk; Work closely with Pricing, Underwriting, Actuarial and Finance functions, as well as senior business leaders, helping to provide expert oversight, review and assurance; Contribute to the development of insurance risk capability and knowledge across the Risk team, focusing on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements

Experience working closely with actuarial, pricing, reserving and underwriting teams within a General Insurance setting, contributing to oversight, review and challenge of key business decisions; Skills in general insurance pricing, reserving and underwriting, with the ability to interpret technical outputs and translate them into clear risk insight, and a willingness to learn and ask questions; A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge while working closely with Line 1 teams
