Principal Product Manager, AI Strategy & Execution

Merge medical imaging solutions, offered by Merative, combine intelligent, scalable imaging workflow tools with deep and broad expertise to help healthcare organizations improve their confidence in patient outcomes and optimize care delivery. Merge is one of the most widely deployed medical imaging platforms in the world. We are focused on putting AI governed intelligence directly into the reading experience. This is a builder's role, not a slideware role. You will report directly to the VP, Product.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the AI vision and roadmap across the Merge portfolio; Take the highest-priority AI capabilities from discovery through launch, co-designed with radiologists and cardiologists; Own the registry, governance, and monitoring that wrap every model, tied to the quality system; Drive time-to-add-a-model from quarters to weeks; Turn a portfolio-level AI strategy into a sequenced, evidence-backed roadmap; Write crisp problem definitions and success metrics; Lead an empowered, single-threaded team through the AI-native product development lifecycle; Represent Merge's AI direction with customers, clinical advisors, analysts, and internal leadership

Requirements

8+ years in product management, including senior ownership of AI/ML-powered products shipped to production at scale; Track record of both setting strategy and delivering, having owned a roadmap and personally carried hard features across the finish line; Fluency in applied AI/ML product decisions: model lifecycle, evaluation, governance, monitoring, and the trade-offs of putting models in front of expert users; Experience partnering with engineering and design in an empowered-team operating model; Clear, plain communication that can make a complex AI strategy legible to clinicians, executives, and engineers alike

Nice to have

Background in healthcare, medical imaging, clinical workflow, or another regulated domain; Experience with platform, marketplace, or partner-ecosystem products; Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulated software development
