Private Equity Associate

We’ve been instructed on an opportunity to join a high-performing private equity team at one of the UK’s premier law firms in London. The team advises leading private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on complex UK and cross-border transactions across the full investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Advising private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on complex UK and cross-border transactions; Working on leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, public-to-private transactions, growth investments, exits, restructurings and general corporate advice for portfolio companies; Managing transactions and building client relationships; Supervising junior lawyers; Contributing to business development initiatives; Playing an active role in the continued growth of an ambitious and collaborative team

Requirements

At least 5 years' PQE; Strong private equity experience gained at a leading international or top-tier firm; Comfortable leading transactions with appropriate Partner supervision; Excellent drafting and negotiation skills; Understand the commercial priorities of private equity clients
